Task: Have each student (or a small group of students) select an animal (companion, farm, or wild) and tell us:
- why the animal counts
- what actions people need to do to provide proper care and treat the animal with respect

Format: Present your class’ ‘Every One Counts’ as a bulletin board, video, poems, posters, PowerPoint, display, etc. BE CREATIVE!
Judging Criteria:
- Diversity of animal species
- Quality of production appropriate to grade level of students
- Creativity
- Reflection of Alberta SPCA’s philosophy of animal welfare
