Miss Serson’s Grade Four Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students asked a lot of important questions about the diverse selection of animals that are featured in the four books! Way to go, Grade 4!

Mrs. Andrew’s Grade Six Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each one. Students applied their learning to their morning journals! Way to go, Grade 4!

Dovercourt School, Edmonton

Miss Boyce’s Grade Four Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the story Call the Horse Lucky and the discussion and activities that followed. Students shared their ideas through discussion and in writing about how they can show kindness to family members, friends and animals on a Kindness Tree. Bravo, Grade 4!

Woodbine School, Calgary

Ms. Fournier’s Grade Three Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students especially enjoyed Sonya’s Chickens and rewriting the story from the perspective of the wolf. The students also loved writing about an animal of significance to their family. Bravo, Grade 3!

Mrs. Robinson’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. The students particularly enjoyed Not Norman! and retelling the story through Norman’s perspective using speech bubbles! Bravo, Grade 2!

New Myrnam School, Myrnam

Mrs. Goziuk’s Kindergarten Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students loved sharing stories and examples from their own experience. Way to go, Kinders!

Ms. Rebkowich’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales Program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students especially enjoyed the charades game (reading body language) that followed Max Talks to Me! Bravo, Grade 2!

Mr. Rana’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales Program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion that followed each one. A lot of great discussion on empathy occurred, especially after the students read Hey Little Ant! Way to go, Grade 1!

Ms. Rincon’s Grade Three Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students had respectful debates, wrote opinion articles and persuasive pet adoption advertisements! Way to go, Grade 3!
