HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Whipple’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed after each book. The students particularly enjoyed the ‘Thought Bubble for Norman’ activity after reading Not Norman! Students had big ideas and feelings when discussing each book and shared their personal connections to the books – Max Talks to Me, in particular. The students enjoyed sharing how their pets ‘talk’ to them!
