HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Margetak’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. The ‘Pet Survey’ activity, as well as the Charades game, were some of the students’ favourite.
The students also did a towel drive from their local shelter and wrote letters to all the cats after looking at their bios on the shelter’s website!
