Task: Have the student select an animal (companion, farm, or wild) and tell us:
- why the animal counts
- what actions people need to do to provide proper care and treat the animal with respect
Use the ‘Every One Counts’ discussion questions to get the student thinking!
Format: Animal care pamphlet (domestic animals), video , PowerPoint, essay, etc. BE CREATIVE!
Judging Criteria:
- Accuracy of information
- Quality of production appropriate to grade level of student
- Creativity
- Reflection of Alberta SPCA’s philosophy of animal welfare
