Students were able to make connections with their school’s focus on wellness and belonging as well as their study of Iqaluit after reading, Kamik an Inuit Puppy Story. Bravo, Grade 2!

Mrs. Flett’s Kindergarten Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students found the stories very relatable and they helped promote class discussion. The students really enjoyed the post reading activities, especially the ball toss reflection and the sequencing activity that accompanied Ginger. Great job, Kinders!

Miss Ortman’s Grade Four Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students demonstrated empathy through the class discussions as well as through their writing. Way to go, Grade 4!

Ms. Barley’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. The students especially enjoyed trying to read the body language of their classmates while playing charades and writing a letter the ant after reading Hey Little Ant. Fantastic job, Grade 1!
