Silver Springs School, Calgary

Mrs. Downey’s Grade Four Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students made connections to their own pets and especially how adopting animals may improve their lives while improving the life of the animal. Way to go, Grade 4!

Tilley School, Tilley

Ms. These’s Grade Three Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the activities that followed. The students made a class ‘kindness tree’ to add acts of kindness too, and are excited to keep it going, long after AnimalTales! Fantastic job, Grade 3!

Livingstone School, Lundbreck

Mrs. Gray’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the activities that followed each book. Way to go, Grade 2!

St. Maria Goretti Elementary School, Edmonton

Ms. Filipiak’s Grade Six Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the various activities that followed each one. Students also had discussions on getting involved in fundraising from animal welfare organizations! Way to go, Grade 6!

Ms. Saretsky’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students had stories read to them about reading body language of dogs, dealing with peer pressure, and adding a new kitten to you home! Good job, Grade 1!

Miss Burns’ Grade Six Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each one. Students related their real world experience to the themes of the books through small group then large group discussion. Way to go Grade 6!
