Noble Central School, Nobleford

Ms. Carpenter’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students loved the experience and enjoyed the stories and the discussions and activities that followed. The students demonstrated compassion through pictures and words! Fantastic job Grade 1!

Andrew Sibbald School, Calgary

Mrs. Hamilton’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed each story and the discussion and activities that followed. The students had a great discussion about how they treat living things, and showed great insights about the importance of treating animals well! Fantastic job, Grade 2!

Lynnwood School, Edmonton

Ms. Yoder’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students loved the stories and were able to identify with the characters in each book. The students enjoyed the group discussion and the activities that followed each story, even performing a ‘Reader’s Theatre’ to the Hey, Little Ant! song! Bravo Grade 2!

Brookside Elementary School, Edmonton

Ms. Allen’s Grade 2 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students really enjoyed the books, but especially Hey Little Ant! and Max Talks to Me. The students had great discussions after the stories and even role played showing emotion non-verbally after reading Max Talks to Me, which the students loved. Fantastic job, Grade 2!

Northmount School, Edmonton

Miss Dunkley’s Grade 1 Class participated in the AnimalTales Program. The students enjoyed the books and the discussion and activities that followed. Many of the students do not have pets so they learned a lot about being a responsible pet owner and what animals need. Great work, Grade 1!

Pop John XXIII School, Fort Saskatchewan

Mrs. Joly-Davis’s Grade 3 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories that were read to them, and had discussions on cruelty to animals.

Uplands Elementary School, Brooks
