Mrs. Rodriguez’s Kindergarten students participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed listening to the stories and having a class discussion after each one! The students focused on responsible pet ownership by illustrating in their journals how they care for their pets!   Way to go, Kinders!

Brightview School, Edmonton

Mrs. Shortt’s Grade Two students participated in the AnimalTales program. Students had great discussions around ants, getting a dog from an animal shelter vs. a dog breeder, and the importance of having a pet and the responsibility that comes with that!   Great job, Grade 2!

Beacon Hill School, Fort McMurray

Miss Petruk’s Kindergarten students participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed having the book read to them, and discussing responsible pet ownership. Students even brought in photos of their pets and each students got to share with their classmates on how they care for their pet.   Great job, Kinders!

Lighthouse Christian Academy, Sylvan Lake

Ms. Plante’s Grade Five students participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed great discussions after each book as well as the writing activities. Students event created Kindness Leaves to share acts of kindness they witness!   Way to go, Grade 5!

Eldorado Elementary School, Drayton Valley

Ms. Snider’s Grade Two students participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the activities and discussion questions that followed each book. The students even wrote their own ending to their favourite book, Hey Little Ant!   Great work, Grade 2!

St. Mary’s Elementary School, Fort Vermillion

Mrs. Brand’s Grade Three Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students has great discussions centered around pet care and puppy mills, after reading the stories. Students were also able to related what they were learning with their personal experience of seeing stray dogs and cats roaming their community.   Well done, Grade 3! Canada

Athlone Elementary School, Edmonton

Ms. Hamilton’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program.The students enjoyed each story and through discussion, enjoyed sharing their personal stories and experiences with their classmates. The program coincided with their pet project!   Bravo Grade 1!
