Mr. Penner’s Grade 5 Class completed the Building Compassion Challenge 2018! The students demonstrated kindness and compassion towards self, others, animals, and the environment for 15 consecutive days during the first two weeks of December!   Way to go Grade 5!

The School Age Site of the Town of Beaumont completed the Building Compassion Challenge 2018. The children showed kindness and compassion towards self, others, animals, and the environment for 15 consecutive days during the first two weeks of December!   Bravo!

Jean Vanier Catholic School, Sherwood Park

Mrs. Beliveau’s Grade 1 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and had great discussion focused around empathy and responsible pet ownership.   Good job Grade One!

École Campbelltown, Sherwood Park

The Grade 2’s of Campbelltown School participated in the AnimalTales program. The students particularly enjoyed Max Talks to Me and practice reading nonverbal communication, by practicing on each other.   Fantastic job Grade Two!

W.O. Mitchell School, Calgary

Ms. Waingort’s Grade 5 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students had fantastic discussions, asking great questions around issues of coexistence and empathy. They also completed activities focusing on figurative language.   Great work Grade Five!

Crestwood School, Medicine Hat

Mrs. Harrison’s Grade 3 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students read all four books and enjoyed the activities and discussion that followed each one.   Good job Grade Three!

Deer Run School, Calgary

Mrs. Richardson’s Grade 1 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students had great discussion after reading each story. The students were lucky enough to have a presentation from the Calgary Humane Society to coincide with the AnimalTales program.   Bravo Grade One!

Red Deer Lake School, Calgary

Mrs. Felske’s Grade 1 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The books were used as a discussion starter to their health and science curriculum.   Great work Grade 2!
