Mrs. Kent’s grade 3’s participated in AnimalTales. The students were “very engaged in both the activities and the books.” The students were able to discover what “the difference between a good home and a poor one” through the book A Home for Dakota. Red Deer Lake School, Calgary

Sunalta School, Calgary

Mrs. Willows’ grade 2 students enjoyed the the books in the AnimalTales program. They created persuasive paragraphs about the type of pet they would want and how they would care for them and be responsible. Way to go grade 2!

Lynnwood School, Edmonton

Mrs. Gachnang’s grade 4 class participated in AnimalTales. They demonstrated “mutual respect in group sharing” exercises and were “keen to share and participate.” Way to go grade 4!

Highwood School, Calgary

Ms. Dugdale’s grade 4 class participated in AnimalTales. They  enjoyed sharing and discussing the books and doing writing exercises. Way to go grade 4!

Brookwood Elementary School, Spruce Grove

Mrs. Ainslie – O’Conner’s grade 3 class participated in AnimalTales. In addition to AnimalTales Brookwood Elementary School is “participating in We Scare Hunger, but with a twist.” On top of that they are “also collecting pet food & supplies for the Pet Food Bank of Parkland County.” Way to go grade 3!
