Burdett School, Burdett

Mrs. Nishi’s  class enjoyed AnimalTales. The students had “a lot of discussion about how they need to care for their pets.” The story “Max Talks to Me” was a great springboard for the students to talk about how dogs communicate through body language. Way to go!

Charlie Killam School, Camrose

Mrs. Cunnings grade 6 class enjoyed AnimalTales. The students participated in lots of great discussions. Way to go grade 6’s!

Buffalo Head Prairie School, Buffalo Head

Mrs. McDonald’s students enjoyed the AnimalTales books, especially “Oh, Theodore.” Students had lots of great discussions and participated in the “fun” activities that went along with the stories. Way to go!!

Deer Run School, Calgary

Mrs. Richardson’s grade 1 students paired AnimalTales with the a presentation from the Calgary Humane Society! The presentation tied together nicely with the books and activities in the AnimalTales program. Way to go grade 1!

Ecole Joe Clark School, High River

Mrs. Polege’s students “loved the stories and activities” in the AnimalTales program. They practiced empathy and “they spoke more gently to each other.” Way to go grade 5!
