When students think about working with animals, they often picture one role: veterinarian. However, there are many other animal-related careers, some requiring university or college training, others needing only hands-on experience or short courses.

Online CTS Course Material

The Alberta SPCA has free online resources that encourage students to understand and apply best practices for the care and welfare of domestic animals. They present the latest developments in humane handling techniques, and are applicable to the Alberta environment. The course material correspond to the Alberta Education Program of Studies as revised in 2010.
