HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT

Kindness Map

Bertha Kennedy School, St. Albert

Mrs. Andressen’s students enjoyed the AnimalTales program; consisting of stories that are ” excellent with great messages”. They especially enjoyed the pet adoption group activity where they discussed the benefits and challenges of owning different types of pets.

Students verbalized their thinking about empathy towards animals and how these feelings transfer to other people. Students collected toys for children at Christmas and are collecting Canadian Tire money for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to buy a microwave for a family in need!

Thank you for spreading kindness in your community! Keep up the excellent work!
