HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Ms. McLennan’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussions and activities that followed each book. The students demonstrated respect for animals when meeting Ms. McLennan’s dog, when he was brought in for a short visit. The students discussed how dogs show feelings and seeing Emmett (Ms. McLenna’s dog) helped solidify the understanding!
