HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Etherington’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories, especially Before You Were Mine, which initiated a very long and engaging discussion on animal shelters and the adoption process. Many of the students were surprised about the responsibilities of taking care of pets, including veterinarians, which also led to great discussion.
