HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mr. Marino’s Grade Five Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the books and the discussion and activities that followed each story. After reading How Smudge Came, the students wrote from the perspective of Smudge, and discussed different perspectives and how others see situations differently. Great discussion was had on responsible pet ownership, as well!
