HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Ms. Turner’s Grade Four Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students enjoyed sharing stories of cultural values about animals from their cultures’ perspective. Students respected each other as they shared their similarities and differences on their opinions and values about animals. Many students were surprised that animals are protected by law in Alberta.
