HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Ms. Mertens’ Grade One Class participated in the Kindness Challenge 2021! The students spread kindness towards self, others, animals, and the environment for 17 consecutive days! Throughout the challenge, the students collected items for their local foodbank. Many students were sad and surprised to learn that some families struggle to have enough food to eat. The students were very proud to have collected two boxes of non-perishable food items!
