HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT

Kindness Map

Father Henri Voisin School, Red Deer

Mrs. Hallam’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussion and activities that followed each book. Students researched an adoptable animals at the Central Alberta Humane Society and built a mini model home for the pet. Student then pretended to help people adopt the pet by presenting the animal’s needs. Respecting an animals’ space and figuring out what an animal is ‘saying’ were a couple big take-aways from students!

Fantastic job, Grade 1!
