HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Holdway’s Grade Five Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed reading each story, especially C’mere Boy, and it fit perfectly with their perspective writing unit! One Duck, was especially valued in the classroom as it gives a different perspective of a rural environment. It fostered great discussion and empathy, and after reading it the students had a better understanding of what happens on a farm.
