HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Piwowarczyk’s Grade Five Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed listening to the stories and the discussion and activities that occurred after each book. AnimalTales not only encouraged students to think about the importance of animal adoption and fostering, but also encouraged students to think about the work that is involved in taking care of an animal, as well as the rewards that come from that.
