HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Foth’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students loved the books and the activities and discussion that followed each story. Students especially enjoyed writing the ant a letter after reading Hey Little Ant and play charades! Students were able to relate to the characters of the book – they could put themselves in the ant’s shoes and could related to Max in Max Talks to Me, and how he communicates without words.
