HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Sudayko’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed each story and the in depth discussions on empathy and compassion and activities that followed including writing a reflection on each book! The students behaviour and attitudes changed after the program; as a result of reading Hey Little Ant! the students would no longer step on ants that found their way into the classroom.
