HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Gibson’s Grade Six Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the discussions and activities that happened after each book. Students especially enjoyed How Smudge Came, and asked for it to be read to them a couple of time. Fantastic discussion was had around empathy towards animals and how students can transfer that to their peers and staff at the school!
