Mrs. Venhuis’ Grade Three Class participated in the AnimalTales program! The students enjoyed the books and the activities and discussion that followed each story. The ‘Overpopulation” Doing the Math’ activity really opened students eyes to understand why it is so important to spay and/or neuter pets. Students were shocked at how many manipulates were on their desk in total! After reading Sonya’s Chickens the students built chicken coop models and were thoughtful in their design and building of a safe coop!

Way to go, Grade 3!
