HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT

Kindness Map

Panorama Hills School, Calgary

Mrs. Venhuis’ and Mrs. Leung-Chow’s Grade Two’s participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the books and the discussion and activities that followed. The students specifically enjoyed the charades game, which encouraged them to really pay attention to facial and body movements, which is important when observing animals! The students brainstormed ways to make a difference for animals at an animal shelter, with some of their ideas being encouraging individuals to adopt from a shelter, and fundraising!

Bravo Grade 2!
