HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Miss Dadson’s Grade Four Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enojoyed the stories and the discussion that took place after each book. The students wrote short reflections after each book and shared in conversations the difference between sympathy and empathy.
The program was extended to include the Grade 7 students, who created their own book of poetry after reading Oh Theodore!
