Ms. Radtke’s Grade Two Class participated in the Kindness Challenge 2020! They spread kindness towards self, others, animals, and the environment for eighteen consecutive days during the first three weeks of December.

The students helped organize a school wide ‘Purchase a Privilege Day’ where students brought in donations to have extra privileges at school. The event raised over $2000 for SCARS. The students also contributed gift cards to their ‘Giving Tree’ in support of local families in need and made Christmas cards for seniors at their local retirement residence!

The students learned to put the focus of the holiday season on giving and supporting others rather than on receiving.
