Eleven of Ms. Hanna’s grade 5/6 students wanted to do something to help animals. The decided to raise money and supplies to help local animals and decided on a local animal rescue group called, “In The Woods Animal Rescue”.

The students held a bake sale at the school and made and collected baked goods to sell with all proceeds going to “In The Woods”. The students raised over $400 and have also collected food, leashes, toys, a kennel and cleaning supplies!

Way to go Grade 5 and 6! Your efforts will make a big difference to animals in your community!
