HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Ms. Garana’s Grade Four Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed listening to the stories, Tanna’s Owl and One Duck, and the discussion and activities that followed both books. The students engaged in making a connection with their own personal experience through discussion. They showed empathy by relating their own experiences and challenges related to the characters.
