HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. McCartney’s Grade Five Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students really enjoyed the diversity of the characters and animals represented in the stories – One Duck, was their favourite! Students enjoyed many discussions on how people show empathy and also shared personal connections to animals they have!

The Alberta SPCA respects the deep foundational connection Indigenous Peoples have had to animals and this land, now known as Alberta, for thousands of years.
