HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT

Miss Faganello’s Grade Five Class completed the Kindness Challenge. The students completed acts of kindness towards self, others, animals, and the environment for sixteen consecutive days.

During the challenge the students had a great discussion about leaving dogs and pets outside without protection. Students then went home and checked what kind of protections their farm dogs had and see what improvements they could make, and reported the improvements to their class. They also decided it would be a great idea to spread the news, and check on neighbour’s pets! They did this activity again, but looking at cats.

Great work Grade 5!
