HELPING TEACHERS INSPIRE COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS, PEOPLE & THE ENVIRONMENT
Mrs. Stang’s Grade Three Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the books and the discussion questions and activities that followed. The students made mini books retelling A Home for Dakota. The students really connected empathy to the book with lots of class discussion about caring for animals and being prepared to adopt a pet.
