Mrs. Godziuk’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed reading each story and the discussion and activities (written responses) that followed each book. The program was used in conjunction with their daily good character lessons; a natural fit! Fantastic job, Grade 2!

The students enjoyed the class discussions after each story and were able to take what they learned and apply it to their journal reflections. Many of the students were able to relate their experience of visiting their community’s local animal shelter to the books, and shared their experience during the class discussions.
