Mrs. Townsend’s Grade Two Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students had great discussions both before and after each story was read.   Bravo, Grade 2!

Mrs. Forsberg’s Grade Three Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed each book, which prompted great classroom discussion. The students even created a Kindness Tree on their door for the students to add acts of kindness to that they see in their classroom and school!   Great work, Grade 3!

Livingstone School, Lundbreck

Mrs. Preston-Hucik’s Grade 4 Class from Livingstone School collected donations of supplies and money as part of a “Furry Friends Fundraiser” to help their local SPCA and Better Chance Animal Rescue in Pincher Creek. They had a chance to tour the shelter when they dropped off their donations!   Great work, Grade 4!

Saint Mary Catholic School, Beaverlodge

Mrs. Schmidt’s Grade 3 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories, which led to great class discussions!   Great job, Grade 3!

Livingstone School, Lundreck

Mrs. Hochstein’s Grade 3 Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the books and the discussions after each book. A Kindness Tree was also made, where student’s acknowledged acts of kindness they witnessed in the classroom! The students even wrote letters of empathy!   Good job, Grade 3!

Simons Valley School, Calgary

Mrs. Webb’s Kindergarten Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and the class discussion that happened after each one! Students were able to identify the responsibility involved in caring for other living things, such as plants and caterpillars!   Way to go, Kinders!

Westmount School, Okotoks

Mrs. Mayer’s Grade One Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the stories and were able to easily related to the animals in the stories and the situations they were in. Discussions after each book often extended to the students’ personal experiences and how they felt.   Great job, Grade 1!

David Thomas King School, Edmonton

Mr. Pudwill’s Grade Five Class participated in the AnimalTales program. The students enjoyed the books as well as the discussion that followed.   Good job Grade 5!
